Fortunately for Patrick McColgan the camera man was late to arrive and didnt capture his dismal effort scuffed to the left hand side and easily saved by the keeper. I wont make any excuses for my pathetic attempt lacking in and pace accuracy or disguise (apart from the severe injury to my right leg which has left me barely able to walk, let alone kick a ball)...on the other hand props to Tom Byrne who confidently stepped and and gave the keeper absolutely no chance with a delicious attempted tucked into the right corner. But a special mention has to go to Damien McCarthy whos seemingly above par performance was ripped to tatters by a well executed Pirlo to which he came close to saving, yet not close enough. Shootout ends 3-3, all to play for in varsity!
