Forty Days of Deliverance Day 44 ************************************************************** Acts 16:27-35 New International Version (NIV) 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!” 29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized. 34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household. 35 When it was daylight, the magistrates sent their officers to the jailer with the order: “Release those men.” ***************************************************************** The compounded payoff of deliverance! Experience has taught me a lot of things! However, experience in the prophetic and deliverance has taught me two principles never to forget. 1. If God speaks about prosperity, open doors, great break through, etc… 95% of the times, things will seemingly or actually get a lot worse, before they get better! 2. When “great deliverance” occurs, chances are, there will be some measure of physical or spiritual repercussions, or as we call it, “Backlash” for your participation and involvement in that deliverance! I wish I could tell everyone, that if God said it, it will “always” come to pass, but understand all prophecy is conditional! I wish I could tell you that you can give the devil a spiritual beat down, and absolutely no harm or hurt will come your way, as a result of it… but it just isn’t so! But what I will tell you is “That each victory will strengthen your anointing for your next confrontation! When you have confronted and conquered the small and irritating spirits, you will be extended the grace and ability to conquer more! I can tell you that as God speaks a prophetic word over your life, and when you “war” with that word, see it to manifestation, the prophetic words will come more often, with greater blessings attached to it! Let me give a prophetic caveat to help a few of you today: I have been given some of the most accurate and powerful prophecies concerning worldwide ministry and great wealth from some of the most powerful apostles and prophets in the world! Many of them “called” me out from amongst thousands. I was not dressed like a preacher, nor sat with them… many times I purposely sat in the back, and they came to me! Many of these prophecies were given over 25 and 30 years ago! Were they wrong? I don’t think so… I simply believe that God has timing and a strategy! And it is not mine! I will also tell you that a prophecy will usually NEVER manifest when you “think” you need it to! That word is deeply lodged in God’s perfect will and timing. I said all of that to say many of you will never receive a BIG prophecy, because of the level of faith, commitment, and patience it will take to manifest a BIG WORD! I know many who would have “backslid after waiting 3 years and a prophecy not coming to pass. People use to come up to me and say, “Man, God is really gong to use you!.. I would look at them and say, as with as much confidence as I could, pray for me, please!.. Why?, Because I knew it would take everything and cost every thing I had, to fulfill and manifest the promises of God over my life. I knew that I would have to make some hard decisions that would be painful, and hurtful for myself and others around me… Just to fulfill the call! I knew that there would be many oven experiences to prepare me for what God had planned! Many of us are not prepared to pay the cost for great ministry, or great prophetic words spoken over our lives. To be honest and transparent, at 53 years old, and where I am now,.. There is not a day, that goes by that I feel that I have missed God, or that God has changed his mind, or I was running around with a bunch of false prophets (LOL). But I also believe that God will speak an “Impossible word” that cannot be fulfilled in the power of man, nor man’s wisdom! What I have learned is simply this… “What did God say? Whatever He has said, do your best to prepare or fulfill that Word, no matter how long it takes! Have you encountered a “hindering spirit” that is causing delay in your journey? Cast it out!.. If you can’t get it by yourself, ask somebody to help you! At least somebody who understands that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood!”… LOL… OK… I didn’t get to the real meat of this subject… so I’ll come back on Day 45, and show you how this thing works, and how you can “Invest in the kingdom, through deliverance, and get a “compounded victory”! But know this… God has not forgotten!… God has a very keen memory! Understand that there is a level of maturity that we reach, that we are not in it for ourselves! We need to understand, that it ministry is NEVER convenient, comfortable, or about US! True servanthood, comes with a price tag that I must pay, watch this... for someone else’s’ benefit! Our sacrifice, delayed promises, embarrassment, ridicule, and rejection… is more than a sacrifice we make for “OUR” selves… it’s for the sakes and the benefit of others around us!.. And not necessarily for the folk WE choose! Yes, its called spiritual maturity! Deliverance is the children’s bread!
