Forwarding: Job Opening in Champaign Software Engineer/Developer ISS, a leading company of fluorescence and biomedical instrumentation based in Champaign, Illinois, has immediate opening for talented, enterprising, highly motivated individuals to join a dynamic team of software developers working in the ISS R&D department. They will be involved in designing and developing software utilized in the latest ISS instrumentation used in a variety of state-of-the-art biomedical and biophysical analytical applications. The ideal candidates have a BS/MS degree in computer science - although other degrees may qualify as well – and experience in software development using C/C++ and C# languages on a Microsoft Windows operating system. Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with Microsoft Sharp development tools and who have had exposure to numerical analysis, curve fitting and image analysis and the demands of scientific programming including project documentation and deadlines to be met.
