Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is proud to host our World Rhino Day celebration this Saturday, September 21st from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Visit our stations and displays located at the Overlook in the picnic area. Things to do and see: Display with rhino skulls and teeth, talks at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm by Fossil Rim’s very own animal care staff, free face painting, free custom made rhino bookmarks, a wooden cut out of a rhino for kids to sign and finally a raffle. Raffle funds will go towards the care of Fossil Rim’s rhinos and towards the International Rhino Foundation for research. Several prizes available to win: either rhino or Fossil Rim related. The top prize will be a chance for a Rhino Encounter! Winner will experience an up close view of our rhinos and the chance to touch a rhino (if the animal allows)!
