The Proclamation of the Establishment of the State of Israel, signed on 14 May 1948 faced numerous challenges, with Britain opposed to it USA was radical on it. today the state of Israel faces many challenges. It borders Lebanon in the north, Syria in the northeast, Jordan and the West Bank in the east, the Gaza Strip and Egypt on the southwest and most of these neighbors are enemies to Israel. to counter this all the policies formulated in Israel are geared towards the protection and well being if Israeli citizens from the potential threats surrounding them. today Kenya is no difference with the state of Israel, surrounded by unstable state of Somalia in the north east, Uganda in the west, Ethiopia in the north and the now called pwani si Kenya in the south, Kenya faces challenges from this countries ranging from, terror attacks (Somalia) cattle rustling (Uganda), and its economic well being is sen as a threat by the neighboring countries hence attempts to bring it down. Kenya need to learn from the Israeli government and all policies made politically, economically and socially should be geared towards protecting the citizens from the potential threats to the well being of all Kenyans.
