Found one of my neighbors outside cat dead...at the end of the driveway...with evidence that it may have been abused (wont get into awful details & not sure if the abuse occurred before or after this poor babys death). A terrible wave of guilt has plagued me since seeing this & I cant help but think, could I have done something? Could I have tried to educate my neighbor the importance of keeping cats inside? Could I have offered to find another home for this kitty, if she was unwilling to keep it indoors all the time? Or was he just happy to be an outside cat?? Please keep your pets indoors, keep them safe from cars & decrease their chance for being abused, ESPECIALLY if you live in the city. And please say a prayer for this poor kitty...may he be free from suffering & no longer in pain...
