Found this amongst Roberts papers... Gods golden gate stood open With farewells left unspoken You quietly slipped away. You suffered much in silence Your spirit did not fade. You faced your pain with courage Until the very day. You tired so hard to stay with us Your fight was all in vain. God took you to his loving home And freed you from all the pain. Our hearts still ache with sadness As secret tears still flow. What it means to lose you No one will ever know. When days are sad and lonely And everything is going wrong.
