Founded in 2006, by Dawrette Heyns. She aims to provide learners will affordable and professional modelling services. We give them hope, recognition, uplift them, develop their self-esteem and confidence, give them experience, networking skills and even inspire them to develop their entrepreneurial skills. We dont discriminate against any learners background. Rather, we focus on developing and improving their different talents no matter what shape or size the person is. Our events are always industry related to help prepare the models for the real thing (castings, auditions, shoots, and promotions). Even if they are not going to pursue a modelling career. We stand to make a positive difference and dont discriminate against any learners background, you dont have to be slender and beautiful. Our learners will receive 2 diplomas each year for their respected courses. We are registered with Modelcup & Global Castings, Johannesburg. The school principal is Dawrette Heyns, and the school is based in Upington, Northern Cape. The school offers modeling courses, as well as give the learners the opportunity to create their own modeling portfolio on request. Dawrette Heyns Modelling Academy Offers the following courses: 1st Year Finishing & Bronze Catwalk 2nd Year Finishing & Silver Catwalk 3rd Year Etiquette & Gold Catwalk 4th Year Improved Etiquette & Catwalk 5th Year Silver Modelling Work 6th Year Gold Modelling Work Our candidates will learn how to utilize their full potential in every aspect of life. We make use of the local newspaper to showcase our models as well as their achievements. We also will supply sponsorship forms for candidates not being able to afford the school fees. This will allow them to search for a sponsor to help them achieve their goal.
