Four Republicans and one Democrat are trying to push a bill through the AZ state legislature to attempt to restrict midwives from performing VBACs and breech births that were recently allowed by the Arizona Department of Health Services last year. This will restrict midwifery practice in Arizona. Apparently these Senators and Representatives think they know better about how to deliver babies than licensed midwives do.
