Four completely packed houses in a row, coverage in a national - TopicsExpress

Four completely packed houses in a row, coverage in a national higher education law journal, and an endorsement from Margaret Cho. Thats what a musical of queer Disney-inspired parodies (aka The Quisney Project) at a small liberal arts college drew in. Its only just now hitting me how significant that is and how truly fortunate I was to be a part of the first run. I was reluctant to join the project initially because of all the other music projects I have going on at the moment, but looking back, Im so glad to have been there for those long late-night rehearsals with some of the most talented musicians Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you to Chase Arevalo, Jason Leher, Kaitlyn Frasier, Sloane Blackwolf Allen, and Julie Russo for sharing that experience with me (as well as to Aj Sayshianda for helping me master the lower end of the music), and thank you to every single other person who contributed to make the project a success! It just goes to show that you never know where opportunities might lead. I now realize that I would much rather accept offers and try to make it work than turn down offers on the basis that I dont have time and find out later that I could have done it after all.
