Four years ago, with a plastic bag full of unwatched video tapes after a trip to Papua New Guinea, I met a brilliant UK editor and filmmaker Rebecca Kenyon, who is now my good friend. She somehow put up with me for over 12 months, and together we crafted 25 hours of random footage into my first film called PNG Style - which was awarded "BEST DOCUMENTARY" at the Portobello Film Festival in London in 2010. Rebecca has recently set up her own production company make her own documentaries, Mote of Dust Films, and is in the middle of editing her first feature-length film about homelessness in the USA.
