Fourth and Final Report WEDNESDAY 10/12/14. Well, sorry to have - TopicsExpress

Fourth and Final Report WEDNESDAY 10/12/14. Well, sorry to have taken so long in reporting since this morning, but there has been quite a bit happening. There are STILL NO Cats IMPOUNDED AS AT 3.00pm, so we can all feel happy about THAT!!! On the Dogs Pound List at 3.00pm, there were, in total, 10 Dogs. Of those, 6 have only been impounded since 8/12/14 at the EARLIEST. As they are yet UNAVAILABLE, you already know that we dont list them on this Page within their 1st 72hrs which is the time allowed by the Pound for the owners to claim them. It is to hopefully, AVOID THE BIG LET DOWN, when a Dog you have your heart set on is claimed (which is a great outcome for the Dog and its owner) and you miss out before you even had a chance to RESCUE him or her! If you have lost a pet, you are advised to check the MARS pound Pets Page for the most recently impounded Dogs and Cats, to try and find them within the 1st 72hrs of when you believe they have been impounded. Also, if you have lost or found a pet, please be sure to pm Ali Bradley, Mackays Lost Pet Co-ordinator for her outstanding match making work in reuniting pets and their owners. Ali also has a webpage called Mackay Lost & Found Pets to keep your eye on. Well, WHAT A DAY!!!! As you know, the male Mastiff x now in care with Emma Molloy and the GOOD PEOPLE AT MARS has been removed from the list. WE ARE LEFT WITH 4 that this morning WERE CRITICAL TO BE RESCUED!!! During the day Lee Norris of MARS posted that the poorly little female Staffy x named Cleo is being adopted and will leave the Pound and the List on Friday!!!!! She wasnt yet on our page having been impounded on 8/12/14, however she was a special needs Dog and as such required immediate attention. SHE IS SAFE NOW!!! OF OUR 4, I am waiting to hear back from Lee about confirmation of the RESCUE of the female Fox Terrier (Smooth) (ID 393), by MARS together with a friend of one of our newest members, Tash Bovenkamp. That looked like a certainty, so she will hopefully be collected very soon and removed from the List!!!! Lee also posted during the day the GREAT NEWS that male Bull Arab x (ID 394) is to be collected by HIS OWNER!!!! Gareth Gaffa Bell, when I last heard is thinking very hard about RESCUING one of the OTHER CRITICAL on our WATCH LIST, EITHER female Bulldog x (ID 395) or female Bull Arab x (ID 397) by fostering WITH MARS. I am, however waiting on confirmation of this from EITHER Gareth or Lee. So that, if it all pans out, leaves us with 1 CRITICAL Dog in need of RESCUE. SO PLEASE, KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT FOR THEM!!!!! I think we are all doing VERY WELL!!!!!
