Fox News is scary. This isnt news, it is propaganda. I have rarely if ever heard such a concentrated hate speech, one every bit as hateful as that of the extremists on the other side. This woman is a judge, and somewhat famous in the U.S., but she seems to miss the point of many things. Among other things why we say extremists and not muslim terrorists. The reason is any terrorist and extrimist is bad. In Norway we learned this a few years ago. And some of the things she says in her hate speech is even scarier than it being an anti-muslim speech. They conquered us through imigration, they conquered us through inter-faith dialogue. Erh, what? When was the U.S. conquered? Did I miss the part where extremists stormed the Congress? In what way have you been conquered? Have you lost your freedom of speech? Did you loose your amendments and the consitution? Did the local shopping mall close? Did it stop to sell pork? Have the local authorities, such as the police, and other civil servants, such as the fire department, fled the scene? Sorry, you havent been conquered, have you? Now, I will myself admit I have advocated war on ISIS, I have even done so fervently, but I have not tried to make it sound like every muslim is an enemy. ISIS is an evil organization, but I do not view it as representative of its religion. In fact, ISIS fails at being muslim. Her entire speech, with one aggressive opinion after another, reminds me very much of the speeches of ages past. And much darker days than these for both Europe and the world in general. Kill them, kill them! Bomb them, bomb them and bomb them! Force the muslim countries to help us! Yes, for this retoric and that last bit would not make them your enemies? Some of these countries have enough problems as it is with internal warlords, druglords and religious groups, ethnic violence and the remnants of former conflicts, much of the strife wouldnt even been there if not for US and European warfare in the first place. And the claim that Egypt defeated or otherwise cast out extrimist groups? Outlandish. Outside of the major cities of Egypt, there are still many different groupings, some just political or religious, others armed and dangerous. It is less than a year since non-government forces in Egypt fired at Israel during the last gaza conflict. Now, this is getting quite lengthy, but really, that woman scared me. If her opinion echoes those of others, or if other people listen to her, this hatred will spread. Her talk is fighting talk, the kind of speech delivered when you are about to declare war on someone. If one have to decleare war, do it for the right reasons, if they exist, not the wrong ones. She made it sound like the entire arabic world was our enemy, and she made it sound like muslims are coming to massacre us. She even tried to play the our forefathers card, skipping past all the slavery of black people and genocide of native Americans and any other unfortunate truth we know is in there.
