When Emmie was barely old enough to talk I would take her to day care, a couple of blocks from my office in downtown Birmingham. Her car seat was in the front passenger side of my little Nissan pickup and we would hold hands and sing along with Live In the X Lounge CDs, WRAX 107.7 would have artists like Hootie and the Blowfish, Sister Hazel, Patty Griffin, and Train in for acoustic sessions and they sold CDs of those sessions as fundraisers. One day after singing Hold My Hand by Hootie, my TWO YEAR OLD asked me whats that different singing daddy. Amazed, I said that was harmony.
