Foxcatcher... Im on the fence. Its supposedly a quiet Oscar pick but it was kind of dull. More like a documentary than a movie. They should have spent more time developing the John DuPont character to the viewer and defining the relationship between Mark Shultz and DuPont. The story is obviously told from Marks point of view but would have probably been better from DuPonts or some sort of shift between the first person narratives so we get a deeper understanding of the situation. I think most viewers will cheated on info that could have made the story more enthralling. And to be honest, Mark Ruffalo was the only good match to his character, Carrell and Tatum... not so much. They should have gotten Tom Hanks, or even better, Steve Buscemi!
