State Mining Corporation may not replace present Mining Companies managed by few large private Shareholders. Kuensel editorial of 24thNov,14 on natural and national resource completely ignored information that Kuensel itself had shared previously on the objective of State Mining Corporation. The RAA report on management practice of Jigme Mining and Druk Satair highlighted in the same Kuensel issue has no impact on State Mining. The Economic Minister had already said that Government will not nationalize private or corporate Mines that are properly mined and so it could mean that Mining leases of such corporations owned by few giant players will be renewed by the Government.This is the kind of picture I got. But we can soon see what is the truth when DHI outlines what State Mining Corporation really comprise of.
