Fq: Im having a heck of a time with my 6 month old son... He is EXTREMELY attached to me, which is fine. Love my little so much! BUT he will NOT tolerate anyone else watching him if Im not around. Not my parents or even my husband, his father. Hes fine if he knows Im there somewhere near by but if I try and go to the gym or grocery shop or even take a shower while someone is watching him he absolutely freaks out. Weve been trying to socialize him for months and nothing seems to work. Also, were ready to wean him to his crib and having a very hard time with that as well. Ive tried a number of techniques and nothing seems to work yet. He will just lay in his crib and cry until his throat is raw until I come get him. Any tips would be very helpful! Ive already tried lovies (blanket that smells like me), sleeping with him in the room, having him sleep in his pack and play by our bed... TIA! -10
