Frame Arts Warehouse: Call for Submissions, Deadline September 18 Frame Arts Warehouse Call for Submissions Dark Side Light | Nuit Blanche | Performance + Opening Sept 28, 2013 Gallery Exhibition August 27- September 6 Dark Side Light We are accepting submissions which focus on conceptual issues of the relationship between the light, the dark, and the construction of the two. We invite artists to explore the questions of Boundary. Where does darkness end and lightness begin? Can the two be seprated? Can they be fluid? What is the impact of light and dark within our personal psyche or the collective? Submission Requirements: Video projection| Silent or soundscape only 90 second-9 Minutes Provide a link on VIMEO A brief statement outlining the works relationship to the themes. Visual Art| One or more images of artwork in 72 dpi jpeg format, clearly indicating size, media, date and price if applicable. A brief statement outlining the works relationship to the themes. Performance Art or Soundscape| Provide a link on vimeo of your presented works, or similar works. A minimum of 5 Minutes and maximum of 13 Minutes. Availability between 7pm-12am for Nuit Blanche Must Be available for a Tech Run-through. To Be Announced A list of Equipment YOU WILL BE PROVIDING A list of Equipment requests for VENUE to provide A brief statement outlining the works relationship to the themes.
