Frank Gorshins stand up routine of impressions, on the Feb. 9, - TopicsExpress

Frank Gorshins stand up routine of impressions, on the Feb. 9, 1964 Ed Sullivan Show, is a comedic gem that is often overlooked when people discuss this show (understandably, because of the first appearance of The Beatles on Ed Sullivan). Sometimes people point out the appearance of a young Davy Jones (The Monkees), but Frank Gorshin killed it, especially if youre a fan of classic films, and know who Burt Lancaster, Marlon Brando, Kirk Douglas, Anthony Quinn, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and others of that era, all are (youd be surprised how many people do NOT know those personalities). ...oh yeah, and the moptops were good on that show, too (though Johns vocal is mixed low)
