Free Medical Camp organised at GAD Parliwand KATHUA, OCT 01: A mega medical camp was organised by department of Indian System of Medicines (ISM) at Govt Ayurvedic Dispensary (GAD) Parliwand under the guidance of ADMO Kathua- Dr Deepika Sankhyadhar with the active participation of the members of Lions Club Supreme Kathua. President Lions Club Supreme- lion Jagvir Singh was also present. The camp was actively attended by the staff of Government Ayurvedic Dispensary Parliwand, Jangalote and Lachhipur. the doctors who rendered their specialized services at the camp were Dr Deepak Rajan, Dr Balkrishan, Dr Suresh Sharma, Dr Nitin Mahajan, Dr Ruby Ubbott, Dr Narinder Sharma, Dr Vikas Ubbott, Dr Sakshi Sharma, Dr Bharti and paramedical staff included Deshraj Bhagat, Roshanlal and others volunteers. The lion members of Lion Club Supreme Kathua who rendered their full support to the camp were lion Kuldeep Singh, lion Roshan Gupta, lion Sanjeev Rai, lion Sarvesh Gupta. About 926 patients were examined and given free medicines for various chronic diseases and among them 325 were registered for various panchkarma procedures. The people appreciated the camp and requested organizers to hold such camps in future also. The ADMO Kathua thanked the Lions Club Supreme Kathua for their all round support and media as well for making the camp a huge success.
