At first glance, I completely missed that you can tap on objects in the scene which start with the same letter. This is actually a nice way to target phonemic awareness as kids can be challenged to find all 3-4 objects starting with the same initial sound. Just dont expect too much in the way of cultural diversity. Apart from depicting kids with unique names, different skin tones, and some with disabilities, you dont really learn anything about different cultures. It would be nice if cultural attire, foods, or customs were incorporated on each page.
