Free market, free enterprise No carbon tax Clive is liberal as much as his business interests are liberal. I mean liberal is all about making money. Progress progress is the name of the game and let nothing get in the way. Clive is a coal Barron, he makes money from fossil fuel. Coal gives off carbon, lots of it. Clive certainly does not want a carbon tax. Clive wants to pay no carbon tax. Clive is as liberal as Tony Abbott; they think the same on business. Clive contests with Tony because Clive is also (under the table) pushing his own interests whereas Tony has no big business interests; Tony is not compromised. Clive tries to walk a middle ground with the general public, but his business interests still compromise him. Clive will talk about helping the General public - pass on electricity savings to the public; have an emissions trading scheme; such is appealing to the vanity of the public. Clive is a business man first.
