Freestyle ladder bars and Cruiser bars will be available on HutchBMX the first week of January. Freestyle bars include the double cross bar and are made from a thicker 4130 chromoly tubing for the extra strength that this riding style requires. Cruiser, Pro, and Expert bars designed for BMX racing are the lightest bars in the market today. Freestyle and Pro bars have an 8 rise, Expert bars have a 6.5 rise, and cruiser bars have a 6 rise. All bars have a 28 width, come with chrome-plated finish, and are priced at $69.95 (candy blue or red extra). Please scroll through all the photos. Although Expert bars were typically marketed towards younger riders 30 years ago, the 6.5 rise Expert bars should be your first consideration today, especially if being used in conjunction with the 1 rise of the 2n1 spacer of the Hutch integrated headset. The 8 rise of the Pro bar is generally considered if you are above-average in height...but even then, the Expert bars may still provide the best pull for today even if youre on the tall side.
