Fresh impetus to social science research -- EU-India platform launched Research looking at Indias social transformations, crime and governance issues has just received a fresh boost. A new platform and a batch of MOUs will facilitate research collaborations between European and Indian organizations in the fields of social science and arts and humanities. The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), UK, the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Research Councils UK (RCUK) India have partnered with European Commissions EURAXESS Links India to set up the EU-India Social Sciences and Humanities Platform (EqUIP).
