Fresh veg ready for the crocks, mostly from Jessica Oatley. Thanks to the Mother for the bounty, and Jess for her willingness to barter and share the magic her family does with their soil. We ate a carrot on the way home, and it was the sweetest bit of good earth energy ever. Thanks to No 5 and the Bello community garden for some daikon, and good value tight white cabbage from Kombu. Kimchi obviously, sauerkraut, fermented beets, carrot treats, leaves to add to others Im wilting for gundruk, carrot tops will go in a vege stock, and whatever else comes to mind.
