Fri. Nov. 14th OF WHOM SHOULD YOU BE AFRAID? Psalms 27:1-3 Why are you afraid, and who are you afraid of? People are so conscious of enemies to a point that even when no one is pursuing them, they are running from the unknown. It is true that there are enemies around, but your joy should be that there is a limit to what your enemy can do if your complete trust and confidence is in the Lord your God. The Lord your God will lighten your darkness (Ps. 18:28). The enemy shoots from the shadows or from the dark (Ps. 11:2). No wonder, God gives you an insight to know what to pray for during your moments of prayers. The Lord is the strength of your life. He is the pillar and rod of your life. “The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?” Psalms 27:1 (NLT). Some people have security guards in their houses and go to sleep without fear because they depended on the security’s ability to protect them. If your reliance on that security guard can make you go to sleep in the night, why not your Heavenly Father. He has the ability to conceal you from troubles and to hide you from any satanic harassment. Believe that any evil which comes to devour or attack you will stumble and fall. Beloved, believe God’s promises to protect you and He will in Jesus name. Prayer: Pray against your fears and subdue them in the name of Jesus.
