Friday- today was full of firsts... And was a Fantastic Friday! First thing Friday morning during shift change at 7am... Leah our night RN and Ellen our day RN witnessed Jim wiggling his left foot and moving his left knee for the first time since the stroke! WOW!!!! Physical Therapist worked with him before his Mom and I came in... But I heard he did even better than yesterday! Our Speech Therapist Nicole was telling Jim that he has done so well... That his speech rehab will continue and that she knows he will continue to improve everyday! At 1pm, we were told that Jim was healthy enough to be down graded and moved to Kaweah Delta Rehab in Visalia!!! It took a little bit... But by 5:30 Jim is resting in his room... I got permission to stay with him last night. It was such a long day, as Ryan and Joanne planned their departure for home... I thought it was already Saturday!!!!
