We have the third largest army, the largest Air Force, quite a robust economy, some of the best self made entrepreneurs, amazing cricketers, talented sportsmen, amazing hockey players (Dhyan Chand ji, some people still remember your legacy, even if the GoI and media does not) and the capacity to become the next big superpower. But, it isnt the country which has the largest army which becomes the superpower. We arent living in 1940s anymore. In 2014, it is the country which has the better story to tell which becomes the Superpower. India is that country, the country which has the better story to tell. We have one of the largest forces of doctors and engineers of the world, 1/7th of the population, out of which 50% are below the age of 35. 1/4 children born in the world is an Indian and carries Indian values. We have an ever energetic Civil society which never leaves a moment to voice its right. We have the second largest number of cellphone users in the world, and the third largest internet users. Nobody has a larger representation on Facebook than Indians. More than War Power, we should pride on our Soft Power. We have the worlds greatest soft power. And that makes us the nation of the better story. I would also like to announce the launch of beingpolitical, my own site, where I express my views on India and Indian Polity.
