Friday: 13th September 2013. For the last three weeks I have had very troubled thoughts. What was that shock that has taken me back so far? And so yesterday I was able to take myself off to a very quiet place, a sanctuary where I let myself think freely of all the things going on and most importantly had taken place over all the years I can remember. To come so very close to loosing my best and closest friend of well over “Forty Years” was the crucible of the matters that are most important in all our lives. Tried the compartments, Matched, Hatched and Dispatched but that did not work. So the river is what can only be my life. As the river travelled it went through all the seasons with sunshine and thunderstorms and ended in the ocean. Like the body frame, small at first then grows. While the thunderstorms were of the periods of darkness the Sunshine was in fact the most prolific. So I had to concentrate on those days of Sunshine. Gosh, those were the greatest times. As WE travelled along together our greatest moments were when we both held out the most powerful frames of our body, our hands. The hands that actually spread love and understanding, the hands that gave and from time to time received. But it was when WE were giving that were the best of all. We shared what we had by giving with our hands and private thoughts remained the secrets. The joys of seeing the recipient’s life changed for just a moment was, and still is, the most cherishing of happiness. I hope I will never be judged by what financial success’ I made but by what service I was able to give to others, some of whom will never even know my name. So what are the most important things and achievements in my life? They are the friends I have made and of those I have been able to serve. The family I have is the actual CROWN. With Peanut and Pumpkin two sparkling jewels. So my thoughts will be on-going of what I can do for others rather than what they can do for me. Zimmer frame and all, my hands will always be extended to help others that come my way.
