Friday 4 October 149 Show of 2013. Its Monday. Where is the rain forecast????... that was the question on Friday and over the weekend it was answered as it arrived in Buckets. On Saturday I spent a delightful afternoon on St Nicholas Beach , with Jane and her mum and even got a little sunburnt, however Sunday it chucked it down virtually all day. Anyway its rather dull today with heavy cloud , so we shall see how the week fares. Things on the whole do seem quiet at the moment as you can feel the season drawing too a close , already some have closed as there are not the same amount of people on the street. Interestingly ,the UK are getting ready for another heat wave (they have had a very good summer), reports were abounding in the British press, of people staying in the UK for the school half term, however we shall see if there is any pick up , despite flights now being down, we also loose the Russian flights today. Just want to ad a big thank you to Paris Ayuiomantia the editor of The Athens Views , the new Greek English language paper. The feed back from people who heard the show on Friday was good.
