Just recently, I walked about a mile down the road near The Riverbank of the LORD GOD, and I heard someone saying that they hated the guy Zimmerman for shooting the juvenile Martin. At the same time, they spoke about issues within their church. I was not at liberty to respond or ask questions because I was passing by overhearing someone else’s conversation. Jesus said, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23); oftentimes, it is quite easy to notice others faults while ignoring our own. The Apostle Paul was chained as a criminal during some of his writings. For example, “in the book of Acts, Luke tells us in some detail the events [that led] up to the writing [in the] book” (Roper, 1995). “Four years [prior to Luke’s writings] Paul had gone to Jerusalem for the Feast of Pentecost. He had been worshiping in the Temple and, [for that reason] the Jews [in that region] of the city thought he had brought a Greek into the sanctuary” (Roper, 1995). Therefore, the accusing Jews dragged Paul into the street; beat him most severely, and nearly lynched him. It was only through the action of a very alert Roman soldier that his lynching was averted (Roper, 1995). Clearly, Paul was accused of something that he did not do. The aforementioned is not a comparison to the current case, it is an example of people creating a situation of wickedness to shed blood. The Apostle Paul suffered for the cause of Christ and even though he was nearly lynched, he continued to serve the LORD. This is when the LORD spoke to me reminding me to love even those that persecute me. I pondered the thought wondering what exactly the LORD GOD was saying… I knew that HIS words rang true all the way down even to the depths of my soul. He said to me, “What is greater, the color of your skin or, obedience to MY Word?” The LORD knew my answer even before I spoke, but I took a moment to contemplate on His question. I observed many people groups gathering together to cause mayhem, in the spirit I saw the acts of wicked men. “A worthless person, a wicked man, Walks with a perverse mouth; He winks with his eyes, He shuffles his feet, He points with his fingers; Perversity is in his heart, He devises evil continually, He sows discord. Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; suddenly he shall be broken without remedy. These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren” (Proverbs 6:12-19). The pot of deceit and destruction is being stirred by Satan in America to bring utter destruction on the saints of GOD. Right now, his methodology is an ancient tactic ‘racial prejudice,’ a branch of hatred designed to turn the hearts of men towards revulsion to scheme, destroy, and murder for the sake of pure wickedness. Afterward, I looked up near the calm Riverbank and said to the LORD GOD, “I desire to be obedience to Your will and Your ways!” Even though it seemed like many people who claimed to be followers of Christ were partaking of the devil’s fruit by devising plans to become an insurrection within their communities to cause mayhem. Quietly, the LORD said to me: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:3-16). Again the LORD said to me, “You are the light of the world… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” So, this day, I declare to you, my brothers and sisters in Christ: Do not partake of the foods prepared by the devil. Even though it appeals to the flesh, the purpose and design is for you to disobey the LORD Jesus Christ by trusting in the flesh of mankind and not the Word of GOD. I counsel you to pray. Pray in the Spirit. Pray with understanding. Pray that the Spirit of GOD will fill you in accordance with Ephesians 5:18, which says, “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” “Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. Brethren, pray for [me]. Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss. I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen” (1 Thessalonians 5:19-28). The grace of our LORD be with you always. Reference: Roper, D. H. (1995). What happened to Paul?
