Friday, Aug. 15, 2014: Clinic in Dumay included Charles Jean seeing eye patients, Dr. Jacques and Tracee seeing the medical patients. We were so happy the young man we saw yesterday with the severe foot infection nurse Carmel debrided followed up to see Dr. Jean Fritz Jacques. After clinic, Daniphaca came in with her dad, Daniel, to pick up her new wheels from Columbus Medical Equipment. See the fun pictures posted here. After that, a young man, who was hit by a motorcycle while walking, was brought to the clinic. He was stitched up and wounds were bandaged. The man riding the motorcycle was also treated. They both received Tetnus shots, then follow-up appointments. Paul had the more mundane, yet very important, job of collecting data and reviewing the books. We felt useful today.
