Friday; Decided to drive down to Hythe, after having breakfast in Wimpey,very nice too ! .Once at Hythe we made our way to the Royal Military Canal and booked a trip on the electric boat. A one hour 7 mile trip along the canal is really peaceful , its a haven for bird life,Kingfishers being prevalent, also Terrapins are seen taking in the sun. On Wednesday 21st August they hold a Venetian Fete along the canal,its well worth a visit. After our boat trip we had fish and chips and a beer in our favourite fish restaurant, before driving back to Eynsford village to have a nice cup of tea at the Plough .
