Friday I learnt another life lesson: I really must be more aware of what my body is telling me. Ian rang the ambulance, as I had 10/10 pain to just breathe ( it was just like giving birth pain! ) Pneumonia , simple as that. Had been unwell for the week, shivering, a bit of fever I was told. Ambulance men were SO LOVELY, and not bad looking too, but never as good as my Ian. By 5pm, the Emergency ward, is a poor replacement for a Hilton! Met so many lovely doctors and nurses all through the night, they all say to REST! But theres no resting in those places with lights on, alarm bells, and nurses and Docs poking me constantly! Ian brought me home early Sat morning. Its so nice to be home, even though Im still in bed full time. Did quick excursion to our kitchen- that was enough...pain killers, antibiotics are my main Menu. Im sorry to Rosemary Davies my sister, where I wont be there to celebrate her birthday on Monday, and worse, we cant go caravaning on Tuesday, that is just so disappointing for me!! But..give me time, and Ill be able to walk outside and enjoy the warmth of the sun...ps funny side to this: never seen the neighbourhood kids SO QUIET as when the ambulance took me out on Friday, the silence was deathly, I could feel it! Deborah Grice, Kim Opoku-Nti....lol..I was so conscious that it was suddenly SO quiet! Hilarious...I can laugh at least without pain.......
