Friday (Jumuah prayer) Bismillaahir-Rahmaanir-Raheem In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... Aoothu billaahi minash-Shaytaanir-rajeem I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast... Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa Rasooluhu. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salat (prayer) on Friday (Jumuah prayer), come to the remembrance of Allah [Jumuah religious talk (Khutbuh) and Salat (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing). That is better for you if you did but know! Then when the (Jumuah) Salat (prayer) is ended, you may disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allah (by working), and remember Allah much, that you may be successful...And when they see some merchandise or some amusement [beating off Tambur (drum)], they disperse headlong to it, and leave you (Muhammad*saw) standing [while delivering Jumuah religious talk (Khutbah)]. Say: That which Allah has is better than any amusement or merchandise! And Allah is the Best of providers. Allah! la ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyuum (the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exist). Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi (footstool or chair) extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. All greetings of humility are for Allah, and all prayers and goodness. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger...O Allah, bestow your favor on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as you have bestowed your favor on Ibrahim and on the family of Ibrahim, you are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious...O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, you are praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
