Carlos Paskalis Seran, SSCC To make it worthy to God A recent incident that happened with my friend still lingers in mind. Last week, I borrowed a notebook from my friend, promising to return it to him the next day. Unfortunately, the weather turned bad the next day and I had no way of communicating with him. When I saw him in class the following day, I returned the notebook to him, but he got upset with me. He refused to talk to me despite my attempt to explain myself. I felt guilty as I did not keep my word. After a week had passed, I managed to talk to him and explain the reason for my delay. However, he did not accept my explanation. I had tried my best but at least now, I had nothing to hide from him. Jesus says if you have something to offer, go first to your neighbor. I think that is true. I felt unworthy when I was angry with my neighbor. To make my offering, my efforts and my prayer worthy to God, I have to make it worthy to myself and my neighbor. Lord, help me to love my neighbor
