Friday October 31! Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 29-30! Titus 1! ! Praise the Lord! Psalms 149:4, “For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation.” Humble people know they need help and the smart ones turn to God for that help and they end up having the salvation that God has for them. Look at Psalms 118:24, “This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Some people think this is the devil’s day but it isn’t. The Lord made today and we should rejoice and be glad in it because Jesus is Lord of every day!! ! Look at why Paul said he was an Apostle in Titus 1:1, “Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God’s elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness—” Paul said that he was an apostle for two things. He was an Apostle for God’s people and he was an Apostle for the truth that leads to godliness. Aren’t you glad that God has put people in your life to minister to you and to teach you the truth of how to live? We are so blessed and I hope you bless those who God is using to bless you. Let them know how thankful you are for them.! ! Titus 1:15-16, “To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.” Thank God that He has saved us and made us pure. If we didn’t have Jesus in our lives we would be totally and completely lost. ! Prayer: Lord, I know that I need Your help and I am so thankful for Your salvation. I also know that You are Lord over all things and I am going to rejoice and be glad today. I thank You for the people You have brought into my life and I ask You to show me how to bless them and help me to really do what You show me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
