Friday morning I, as well as many others attended a funeral for a friend who lost his wife to cancer she was a mother, a wife and friend to all who met her, she was a good person who was taken to soon. May she rest in peace and prayers to the Lundy family. I then went to the city of Elmendorf police department to take pictures of the outside memorial of flowers and trinkets placed by concerned citizens to express their love and appreciation for a hero taken to soon, Chief of Police Michael Pimentel who was killed in the line of duty. It would be great if memorials or Honor Chairs as made by Saving A Heros Place to honor officers or first responders killed in the line of duty would not have to be placed or made, but it is unfortunate that at any given time as in the private funeral of a loved one or the public funeral of a police officer, first responder or Military service member there will be more. We must remember that lives will be called home to heaven and it is up to all of us to never forget those lost and to carry on with life and appreciate one another.
