Friday sees our little look at the inov-8 Black R.A.T faves for trinkets , This is probably the most hotly contested distance this year with a large out of county entry again hoping to give the locals a run for their money . A lot can happen over 32 miles of Cornish Coastpath but girls fave for me is AYPace trail team runners Claire Prosser winner of this years CQ and second in the Grizzly , Emily Canvin will be well up the field although the distance will be a bit short for her, Alicia Livingstone from Mudcrew Trail Runners and Team Velotive will be one to watch with Jayne Angilley again from the AYPace trail and Wales Ultra Team back to her best after her recent win in the Tralee 100k in Ireland . Charlotte Bennett, Wendy Chapman ,Sharon Daw on her 100th marathon will be among the locals will at the sharp end and possible trinket contenders. The boys race is equally interesting with some class locals mixed with many from all around the country , This really is Mike Robinson territory who loves this kinda distance but with Kevin Toher on the entrant list , Stuart Nicholas and Rob Burnham its going to quiet some battle . Steve Wherry ( if he can keep up with Charlotte ) and Adrian Ball from Cornwall AC will be up there and not forgetting Stu Wilkie from the Mudcrew Ultra Team who will be running AFTER crewing all night for the Plague in prep for the CCC in Chamonix at the end of the month . Anyone disagree ? Thoughts ? Faves ? Anyone know any particular speedy guys from across the bridge ? Good luck all :-)
