Fridays half day trip produced a couple of decent flatfish off the bottom and we hooked a Big Blue Marling in the morning but unfortunately did not get hooked well enough to stay on and we lost it, but still good to see as it took the short lure right behind the boat and everyone got a good sight of it attacking and taking the lure. Then all fired up we carried on looking for more but no luck, we did hear another boat had an encounter with 2 small white Marlin but they lost them as well, so bad luck them as well. The afternoon did not show anything on the surface, but we had a few more off the bottom. Day off yesterday and got a full day today, weathers still OK, just a slight breeze which is welcome during the summer months. I will add a few pics and video after this message on a separate post, one of them showing how we lift a small Tope shark out of the water by hand and then take the hook out, then the memory on the phone ran out and missed the bit of releasing it, but I have put an extra memory card in it now and will try and show another one from beginning to end if we get any today. Still trying to catch up with ourselves at the moment and dont seem to have the time for anything else but running the boat, but should get back into swing this week, as I also have some other good videos that I want to add to our You Tube page , but are a bit long and need arranging and I am having trouble trying to work out their new editing system, but will have another go at it later and add the links to a post on here.
