Friends Are Friends Forever - Michael W. Smith I know this may seem corny to some, but after this song played at my cheerleading end-of-year banquet my sophomore year, my Daddy stood up and talked about Jesuss love for us all and how he is our forever friend. Watching and listening to him witness to a group of my peers that I felt so intimidated by, I truly realized the depth of my fathers compassion and the bravery that he had to open his heart up to strangers because his was a servants heart. This was not the first time, by any means, that I felt proud of having him as my father, but it was the first time I truly understood his compassion and love for our hearts.
