Friends, I dont have the expertise to answer this question authoritatively. To the best of my understanding, any further intervention will damage this babys penis even more. Warm baths & no diaper time may allow maximum healing to occur, with normal retraction very possible at the appropriate time that his body determines. Please share your advice and experience with this mom. A regret mom sent me this and needs helpful advice (not judgment). What is in the best interests of this child at this point? ~A friend The skin started growing over the glans about 6 or 8 weeks after the circumcision, and his pediatrician kind of threw up his hands about it. Now the rim is completely covered .... He developed smegma cysts. The two cysts on each side caused a holes in the skin so they could come out. The holes are each about the size of a grain of sand. Parts of the smegma cysts are still there as are the holes. Our insurance starts back up next month. With all the changes my husbands company was obligated to allow us to enroll. So I will take him to the doctor then. Do you think the adhesions have a chance at resolving themselves as he grows and maybe those holes get bigger? Most of the cysts have come out. Its just white gunk. And he has those two little holes on either side of he penis. Im concerned about the attachment and how it will affect his long term. He is 16 months old. And sometimes when I change his diaper he gets erected and it kinda leans to the left a little. It also hides most of the time by retracting into what skin is left. cc: Marilyn Fayre Milos, Danelle Frisbie, Gillian Longley, Michelle Storms, Rob J Tsvetkov, Tiffany RN, Tora Spigner, Kira Antinuk, Wendy Weinbeck Grenier, Charlie Suzi Chapler, Mary Bennefield, Stephanie Wilhoit Ferguson, Robbie T RN, Ashley Trueman, Kellinjoe Crawford, Laura Ivansons, Dolores Sangiuliano, Rubén Ruiz, Steven Svoboda, David Wilson, Karen Kelly Glennon, Mary Conant
