Friends: If you see a Ban the Burqa message on facebook, please dont forward it if it is from the BNP. You may share my sentiment that the burka is a subjugation tool used to keep women down and I have a lot to say on that matter that I will not say right now. But if the message is from the BNP (The British National Party) please do not forward it. The BNP are a neo-nazi group who only wish to further anti-muslim sentiment so they can not just ban burqas but muslims in Britain. They are a stringent anti-immigration group whose platforms include voluntary deportment (ie: Go back home where you came from) and a complete ban on any non-british people in Britain. If you wish to protest the subjugation of women, that is a laudable thing to do, and please do so. But do not do so by forwarding subliminal hate messages from the BNP. Its like Nazis for Feminism. You can be pro-feminism, but you woudnt spread that message if its coming from the Nazis. Dont spread this from the BNP.
