Friends, Jimmie is coming with me to Rileys Tavern tonight, you can come too and play all your newest songs if youre crazy enough. If not, stay home and wallow in your sanity. :) Then hope youre done with that by TuNesday, tomorrow, because during the WIDE open mic at The Olmos Pharmacy were going see how many people we can get to be videoed singing the theme song for a TV show. Jimmie Whipple and Donna Hedges will be our video directors. Please sport a cowboy hat and a can do attitude. As my mentor Butch Morgan says, come prepared and one chance is all youll need - this could be the spark that ignites our careers into fame. Jimmie and I will play thirty minutes at 7:00 and well start the process of getting famous at about 8:30. In the middle of all that you can sign up and play three songs. Its a good deal. If you have extra cowboy hats, bring them. We figure thats the angle that will get us on TV in front of millions of faces. John
