Friends, alloy wheels of Tata Zest are not designed properly. The edges of the wheels are having very sharp edges. If you accidentally or unknowingly cross a pot hole or any sharp edges of the road even with normal speed, that impact of the edges of the wheels cuts the tyres. It happened to my vehicle. When I was passing through a pothole, right side 2 tyres were cut down and vehicle stopped. I had one stepny. It was a hard situation. I went to the dealer. They called upon Bridgestone tyre surveyor. He straight away rejected and said there was no manufacturing defect. It might be due to rash driving. Friends, this is my 3rd car. I drove my previous cars 70000 km and 180000 km respectively without a single incident of damage. I know, this is because of faulty designed alloy wheels. I purchased 2 new tyres spending Rs. 10600.00. I am disappointed. Today I came to that another Tata Zest overcame with exactly same problem means both tyres cut at once. Surprisingly, We both purchased our zests from Manickbag Automobiles, Hubli and using then in Haveri District. I request you all to think over this and be careful while driving.
