Friends and family, we have been so blessed with the love, encouragement, and prayers we are receiving. That peace that passes all understanding - let me tell you - it is real. The news we have received over the past few weeks has been painful. I am struggling and I am weak, but the Lord is not. When I want to let go, he holds on tighter. That is where I find comfort. As Corey put it, “Joy isnt us being happy or excited, but its the confidence of knowing He’s next to us when were sad and scared and alone and mad.” I read in my Hebrews study the other day, “Your tears are welcome at the throne of grace.” That’s good news, because there have been lots of them. But we are not alone, and we are not without hope. Seriously, we have so much hope. Mom and dad are in New York tonight, and they are meeting with an oncologist and a surgeon tomorrow. Their appointments are at 1 and 3. We have felt that the Lord has obviously pointed us to New York. Mom has so much hope that she will get good news here. We are really hoping there is a clinical trial that she is a candidate for. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors and my parents as they decide on a treatment plan. Ultimately, just pray for some good and encouraging news tomorrow. We want complete healing and know that it is possible. Thanks again for all of the support! -Bekah
