Friends, is your lifestyle likely to attract God’s mercies or judgment to your unborn generations? Are your actions, attitudes, behaviors, etc such that will make God to bless or punish the generations coming after you? Is your lifestyle likely to attract generational blessings or generational curses? Instead of attracting curses to your next generation, live in such a way that God will consider your good works and bless generations coming after you. Live in such a way that you will leave behind a good name and attract goodwill to your next generation; live in a way that will cause God to remember your future generations for goodness and mercies. There is punishment for wrong doing, and people coming after you could suffer for your wrong doing. Don’t be counted among men like Ahab who left curses for their generations to suffer; be counted among men like Abraham who attracted blessings to their generations; be counted among those who attracted God to their generation. Psalm 112 vs. 2 says: “...the generation of the upright shall be blessed.” But if God were to pay your offspring for your acts here on earth, what would the payment be like? Will they be blessings or curses? Will they be commendation or condemnation? Will they get miracles or punishments? Pray With Me: Lord, I shall walk up rightly before you; I will not leave curses for my next generation, in Jesus’ name! Have A Blessed Thursday.
