Friends, not to cause a panic or add to the frenzy, but be responsible. If you know you or a family member have come in contact with anyone who has recently been in West Africa or healthcare workers that potentially may have been exposed even in the most minimal, think about friends, family, church, mission workers, healthcare workers. Take extra precautions, protect yourself and be considerate of others. Even if its a minimal suspicion. Error on the side of caution, if you are not symptomatic but know there may be a risk, monitor yourself and reduce your exposure to others until you are sure. Avoid going into the hospital unless absolutely necessary. Review handwashing techniques with your children as they share many things at school, including germs. We are our own best advocate. Education is essential. The blame game only distracts us from progress.
