Friends, now I am confirmed that the whole story (Labhpur Birbhum Gangrape) is cooked up. Just now I came to know 2 VERY IMPORTANT information from my sources : (1) Hospital medical report clearly states that no rape occurred. Genital intact. (2) That fateful day police called the accused boys to local outpost (Phari/Chauki). They were totally unaware that any case has been started and they are accused. Police arrested them at the outpost. Now, you conclude what happened. If they were really guilty, would they have attended the police outpost so easily? Would not they have fled away? Local people are alleging that the whole story has been cooked up at the behest of local (Labhpur) TMC MLA Mr. Manirul Islam. Police knew it very well. That is the only reason they did not seek police custody of the innocent accused. They knew very well that there is nothing to investigate. BUT, bechara S.P. Mr. C. Sudhakar had to take the blame for it and transferred. Our West Bengal has turned to be the Andha Nagari Chaupat Raja, Taka Ser Bhaji Taka Ser Khaja. Today TOI too started their dirty nasty game. It wrote in front page Medical tests on the survivor are also unlikely to show anything after three days. WHY TOI WHY ?? Why are you lying? Why you too joined the conspirators? You came to know from hospital superintendent that no rape occurred. Therefore you started cover up game. If so many people raped the girl, then is it impossible to get medical evidence after 2 days, not 3 days as youve reported? Friends, now you try to imagine the mental condition of the accused and the whole tribal society of that village. Now you all try to understand why tribals call us diku, a derogatory term in their vocabulary. Another info I want to share with you all. The girl and that Khalek Seikh were caught in indecent position in night. They were tied up with a tree whole night. At that time the girl was screaming almost whole night. In next morning only the salishi sabha held. They were fined in that sabha. Then the TMC leader came and freed Khalek giving 25 thousand rupees. Therefore the charge of rape in night after the verdict does not arise. The victim girls elder brothers told us that their sister is not only detached from the tribal society, but also detached from their family. The girl spent 4 years in Delhi. Now she stays with her mother in the village. Her brothers lives at other place. Her lifestyle is entirely different. Friends, you are not giving any importance of the unanimous opinion of not only the male persons of the village, but also of all female members of that tribal village. Astonishing! Do you think these women are protecting the rapists of their village? Friends, there are many things behind the screen. These simple tribals are repeatedly being victims of the situation, vested political interest and our perverted notion of modernity and secularism. We cannot protect them from exploitation (only 1 example - snatching away their land which is non transferable by law in our constitution), torture, indignity, insult and humiliation. BUT we are more than eager to teach them lesson of secularism, modernity, law, constitution, etc. I know these tribals are facing this threat from the Muslims in entire West Bengal and Jharkhand since long. 20 years back, I recall one such incident of Gangarampur (now South Dinajpur dist). One tribal girl was raped by a Muslim. Tribals were furious. Getting inspiration from local VHP, they called a huge gathering of about 15000 tribals from Bengal and Jharkhand. At that time their local guru Shibu Murmu (not Soren) was with VHP. The rapist allegedly took shelter in the house of the then CPIM minister Smt. Minati Ghosh. CPIM was protecting the rapist, as they always do for the minority culprits. The people started assembling from previous night. Seeing the huge mob, local VHP leaders of district head quarters Raiganj became scared and threatened. They decided unilaterally that night that the agitation be called off. Tribals could not be informed as that time mobile phone, etc were not available. The next morning, that 15000 tribal mob just became confused becoz there was nobody to instruct them what to do, where to go - to the BDO or Police Station or to the house of Smt. Minati Ghosh. The great moment passed and the opportunity to get justice spoiled. This time friends, come forward to help our tribal brothers in distress. They are our Ramji ki Sena. Dont abuse them. Love them, help them. Raise your voice in their support. Regards to all. Tapan Ghosh President, Hindu Samhati
