Friends of Frau Nau are dedicated folks here to help Mrs. Nau as she has helped so many in the past! Also is a place to learn about upcoming benefit items. Twyla Nau, aka Frau Nau, our beloved former choir and German teacher at Nederland High School and founder/director of the iconic high school show choir, Ned & Company, was diagnosed on July 10 with an aggressive form of colon cancer. After undergoing rigorous chemotherapy treatments at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Mrs. Naus treatment was recently discontinued, and she was transferred to Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. This legendary, inspirational and influential teacher, mother, sister, and friend is surrounded by love as she is uplifted in prayer by the community who adores her. She is truly leaving a legacy! Please help us raise money to off-set medical expenses for her inpatient hospice care. Mrs. Nau is very comfortable at Harbor Hospice, and your donations of time and money will help keep her there!
